Rio Verde Privacy Policy
We at Rio Verde collect and use certain personal data belonging to those who use our platform. In doing so, we act as the operator of this data and are subject to the provisions of Federal Law No. 13,709/2018 (General Personal Data Protection Law - LGPD).
We care about the protection of your personal data and have therefore made available this privacy policy, which contains important information about:
- Who should use our website
- What data we collect and what we do with it;
- Your rights in relation to your personal data; and
- How to contact us.
RIO VERDE knows how important it is to know and be sure about the use of personal data under its responsibility, as well as that of its clients. That's why we've taken care to clarify and explain our Privacy Policy.
We recognize the need for adequate protection and management of the personal information collected on our website, as well as that shared with us by our clients.
This Privacy Policy will help you understand what types of information we may collect, how that information may be used and with whom the information may be shared.
The personal information we collect can be obtained as follows:
Website and applications: Personal information is collected when the user interacts on our website through forms, comments, surveys and requests. This personal information includes, among others, the user's name, e-mail address and telephone number. When we collect some of this information, the user chooses whether or not to give consent to receive news, launches and promotions. The user of our portal is under no circumstances obliged to provide any personal data in order to browse the pages of the site, so the information is provided of their own free will. The collection of basic data, such as name and e-mail address, is only obligatory when the user wishes to be contacted again. All personal information is collected in a fair and non-invasive manner, with the explicit and voluntary consent of the holder of the personal data.
Cookies: personal data may be collected through cookies, with the user's consent. For more information, please consult our Cookies Policy.
Registration: we collect the full name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, ID and CPF number, among other information, of customers who wish to contract our products through physical or digital forms, e-mails, telephone numbers and applications.
Contract: when the user buys a property, we collect the data necessary for credit analysis, payment, drawing up the contract and issuing the receipt or invoice. Some of these data are: nationality, marital status, ID, Driver's License, CPF, bank details, education and spouse information.
Credit analysis and protection: in order to verify your financial capacity to honor the commitments made to us and related to our products and services, we need to collect some of your data, such as income, education, spouse and dependent information.
Legal Obligation: we collect personal data to comply with legal obligations related to the sale of our products and services, such as issuing invoices using the following data CPF, name, among others. With regard to our employees and their dependents, we collect, among other things, reservist certificate, voter registration, PIS, birth certificate, marriage certificate, professional registration, CTPS, photo, union membership and health data.
We may have access to your personal data that you have shared with our brokers in response to your express wish to purchase our products or use our services. This data will be that which is necessary for the performance of the contract (see the list under Contract).
In order to sell our products or services, we need the personal data described above, especially those related to registration data (item Registration). If you choose not to provide some of this information, we may be unable to sell you our products or services.
Personal information is not accessible to anyone outside the specific function for which the data was collected and we do not use any kind of solely automated decision that impacts you.
Our database is under our responsibility and its use, access and sharing when necessary will be done within the legal limits and business purposes described in this policy.
Please note: You are responsible for the accuracy, veracity or lack thereof of the data you provide.
RIO VERDE also uses Social Media to communicate and interact with its customers and consumers through third-party websites such as Facebook or Twitter. These third-party websites are an Internet-based technology that is not operated or controlled by RIO VERDE. By interacting, sharing or "Liking" the RIO VERDE page on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other social media, you may disclose certain personal information to RIO VERDE or third parties.
We use "social buttons" to allow our users to share or bookmark web pages. These are buttons from third party social media sites, which may record information about your activities on the internet, including this site. Please review the respective terms of use and privacy policies of these sites to understand exactly how they use your information, how to opt out or delete such information.
The amount of personal information visible will depend on your own privacy settings on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.
No sensitive data will be collected from our users, as defined in art. 5, II and art. 11 et seq. of the Personal Data Protection Act. Thus, there will be no collection of data on racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, membership of a trade union or organization of a religious, philosophical or political nature, data relating to health or sex life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person.
It is not RIO VERDE's practice to disclose information that can identify the user and it never shares information or sells or rents this personal data to third parties. This data is for the exclusive internal use of the company for the purposes expressed in the previous item.
Data may only be shared with third parties in the following situations:
- Upon judicial decision or request by government inspection bodies.
- Data transferred to public bodies to comply with current legislation, for example personal data contained in electronic invoices or data of our employees required for the payment of INSS or FGTS.
- Data transferred to accounting or human resources service providers to meet tax and labor obligations;
- Data transferred to financial institutions to enable payment options for our clients, or to pay salaries to our employees and contractors;
- Data transferred for business purposes with third-party service providers that provide services to us, such as real estate brokers, collections, payment processes, customer services, sending e-mails, advertising and marketing, security and performance monitoring, repair and maintenance services, processing and fulfillment of orders and transactions, verification of consumer registration information, research, data storage, auditing and data processing;
- Data transferred for the purpose of executing the contract requested by the user, such as data sent to the owners of the properties rented through our platform or to third parties who provide the products or services purchased by users of our platform.
To ensure that your personal information is secure, we communicate our privacy and security guidelines to RIO VERDE employees and strictly follow privacy precautions within the company.
We strive to protect your Personal Information, and that entrusted to us by our customers, through physical, technical and organizational measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and improper alteration of this data.
Data subjects have certain rights with regard to their personal data and can exercise these by contacting us at dpo@rioverde.com.br.
The rights of data subjects are:
- Confirmation of the existence of the processing of personal data;
- Access to personal data, under the terms of the applicable legislation;
- Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- Data portability;
- Deletion of data, when it is processed on the basis of the data subject's consent or when the data is unnecessary, excessive or processed in breach of the applicable legislation;
- Request for information on the shared use of data;
- Revocation of consent, when applicable.
Certain requests can be made by the user directly through the RIO VERDE platform, via access by e-mail and password. It is therefore very important that the user has a strong password and does not share it with third parties. The user assumes full responsibility for third party access to the platform using their account and password.
For security reasons, for requests made via e-mail to dpo@rioverde.com.br, we will only be able to fulfill the request if we are certain of the user's identity. Therefore, we may request additional data or information to confirm the identity and authenticity of the Holder. This data and information will be protected during the storage period and deleted when it is no longer useful.
This Privacy Policy applies to the aforementioned circumstances for as long as RIO VERDE stores the personal data. We store and maintain your information: (a) for as long as required by law; (b) until the termination of the processing of personal data, as mentioned below; or (c) for as long as necessary to preserve Rio Verde's legitimate interest. Thus, we will process your data, for example, during the applicable limitation periods or for as long as necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
The processing of personal data will cease in the following cases: (a) when the purpose for which the personal data was collected has been achieved, and/or the personal data collected is no longer necessary or relevant to the achievement of that purpose; (b) when the Data Subject requests the deletion of their data; and (c) when there is a legal determination to this effect.
In cases of termination of the processing of personal data, with the exception of the hypotheses established by the applicable legislation or by this Privacy Policy, the personal data will be deleted.
RIO VERDE provides below the contact details of the Personal Data Officer (DPO), who is responsible for responding to any and all requests from users or the National Authority relating to personal data.

If, despite our commitment and efforts to protect your data, you feel that your data protection rights have not been met, please contact our DPO. In addition, you have the right, at any time, to file a complaint directly with the National Data Protection Authority.
This Policy may be amended or revised at any time and without prior notice. However, we will always publish the new revised version on our website or app. If there are any changes to the way we treat personal data, you will be informed to check whether you wish to continue using our services.
